GABLINE, a brand, a story, a journey
GabLine was born from the meeting of Florent and Stéphanie.
Trained as jewelers under a master craftsman, Florent and Stéphanie founded their jewelry atelier in 2004. Specialists in chain enameling, antique jewelry restoration, and bespoke pieces, they developed an innovative approach combining fine craftsmanship, technical skill, and creative freedom.
Their universe is rooted in the simple values that define luxury: passion, exacting standards, and sincerity—artisanal expertise, mastery of the gesture, and a deep appreciation for art.
Their atelier, both a cabinet of curiosities and a high jewelry studio, is an unusual and welcoming space filled with treasures reminiscent of historic galleries: vintage machines, atypical mechanical parts, fine stones and collectible gems, extraordinary jewelry pieces… Unexpected juxtapositions that reflect the rich and inspiring world of the two creators.
Today, through GabLine, Stéphanie and Florent pay tribute to their roots:“GabLine was born from the combination of two first names that are dear to us. Gabriel, known as ‘Gaby,’ Florent’s grandfather, a mechanical genius who worked with bicycles, automobiles, and submarines. And Jacqueline, my grandmother, a schoolteacher driven by a strong vocation for passing on knowledge. Following in her footsteps, I now work to preserve the heritage of French high jewelry,”explains Stéphanie.

QARTEL, an inspired timepiece
Qartel was imagined by Florent in memory of his grandfather Gaby: “Gaby was the one who passed on to me this passion for mechanics, its personal and historical dimensions, for motorcycles and automobiles. He worked as a mechanic on submarines, motorcycles, boats… I was fascinated by his life and by the stories he told—stories of distant places, intense sensations, and adventure.
I grew up with this, under his benevolent gaze. He was also the one who enrolled me in a school where I learned jewelry-making. Thanks to him, the idea of Qartel gradually took shape in my mind, also as a way to pay tribute to him. Today, I honor him by evoking these memories through the Qartel watch.”
Dreamed, imagined, and drawn by Florent, Qartel long existed as sketches and drawings. Its realization involved numerous technical challenges, ensuring excellence in performance while remaining faithful to the original vision.
Qartel is the result of memory, passion, and creativity.

Florent designs the models, produces sketches and technical drawings, conceives each piece, and combines components and metals to develop the original models. He oversees product quality and prepares new creations.
Florent handcrafts the dials, applying his expertise and artistic eye to refine every detail through meticulous work. He ensures that each element of the dial reflects the rich and inspiring universe of the two creators.
With simplicity, Stéphanie brings her intuition and attention to detail to GabLine. Each project is, for her, a sincere way to introduce harmony.

Overseeing the mechanical precision of Qartel is Michel, a master watchmaker with over 40 years of experience. He dedicates his expertise and passion to the complex mechanics of each piece, ensuring performance and reliability.

The initial sketches were translated into technical drawings by an aeronautical engineer. Thanks to his expertise, Qartel cases are machined with high precision. His deep understanding of materials and manufacturing processes ensures that each component meets the most demanding standards.
Our straps and presentation cases are patiently handcrafted by our leather goods artisan. Each strap is made in France, offering refined aesthetics and comfort. The attention to detail and the quality of materials reflect traditional craftsmanship and the passion of our partner.
